Crafting beer is a choice, a deliberate concentration of one’s interests, experience, and time. For us, becoming the creators of Birra Mastino was a life-changing decision. We looked to the great brewing traditions, and we embraced the values of respect and dedication demanded by craft beer, while always seeking out own unique identity.
Today, our identity can be defined as a steadfast commitment to beer. We’re committed to beer styles, loyal to our commercial partners with our reliability and continuity of service, and we remain faithful to the taste that beer lovers associate with our brand. A flavour they have learnt to discern and appreciate. And ask for, again and again.
It is this commitment that has made Birra Mastino a European benchmark in craft beers. Our Pils 1291 won the gold medal at the European Beer Star in Germany – in a land that is so proud of its own achievements.

Brewing beer in a region renowned for its wine is quite a challenge! From the outstanding food and winemaking traditions of Verona, we have learnt that the secret of product excellence starts from the raw materials. For us, these are now largely self-produced, as part of a culture that approaches tradition not with awe, but certainly with the utmost respect.
Our selection of beers is thus an expression of our territory and each sip conveys a distinctive and unmistakeable character that is steeped in our local heritage.
