THE PLEASURE OF FRIENDSHIP

The Mastino della Scala court was one of the staunchest supporters of the Emperor, and indeed was the noblest of the Ghibelline factions. There was great friendship and respect between the Scaligers and the Imperial court, and Munich (“Monaco” in Italian) had already become a key city of the Empire. Our amber-coloured beer, which offers the perfect way to seal this lasting friendship, is named after this splendid city.

Our Monaco is an Amber Lager of great character. A bottom-fermented amber-red beer with fruity and slightly toasty aromas. Munich malts and caramel dominate the palate, with a dry, well-balanced finish, offering freshness and drinkability.
