TRADITIONAL BEERS
BERN
THE IMPERIAL LAGER WITH AN INTENSE FLAVOUR AND ARISTOCRATIC TASTE
THE SCENT OF BREAD AND HONEY
In the early Middle Ages, Verona was governed by Dietrich von Bern, known as Theodoric of Verona, King of the Ostrogoths. Bern was the ancient Teutonic name for Verona.
Our “Bern” is a bottom-fermented Imperial Lager beer, crafted in typical Bavarian style with pure malt, using the two-mash decoction process. There are notes of honey and crusty bread on the nose and a full malty taste on the palate.
